My Genius hour is focused on learning the American Sign Language. I made this Popplet to explore some questions thats students might have before learning about ASL. The questions that I proposed have to do with the history, background and breakdown of the language and its use in North America. I used Popplet as an easy way to display the questions all on the same screen. The questions are easy to read, highly visible and pictures, videos and audio clips can be easily added to enhance your visual. I found Popplet to be a very easy app to use, it is interactive, has a tutorial and is visually appealing. It is an app that can be easily accessible for all students and teachers and it allows for various users to contribute on the same project. I would personally use Popplet in the classroom when exploring something new, it could be a date in history, a science topic, and person in literature, truly anything can be explored.
